Thyroglobulin Antibodies

Measured in IU/mL

A second autoimmune thyroid marker, run alongside TPO antibodies. Some people are positive for one and not the other.

What the numbers mean

These are the ranges BioForge works to. They are not the same as a lab's reference range, which is built from the general population rather than from people who feel well.

What moves Thyroglobulin Antibodies

Positive antibodies mean the thyroid is more likely to decline over time, which changes how often we recheck it. Roughly 4% of people with no thyroid disease at all test slightly positive, so a low positive is interpreted carefully rather than treated.
