Every marker on your panel, explained.
Most lab reports tell you whether a number is flagged, not whether it is good. A reference range is built from the general population — including people who feel terrible. These pages give you the other version: what each marker actually measures, the range we work to, and what pushes it up or down. 98 markers, in plain language, free to read and with nothing to fill in.
Testosterone, Estrogen & Binding
The four numbers that decide whether therapy makes sense for you at all — and whether the testosterone you have is actually reaching your cells.
Pituitary & Adrenal Signals
The control system upstream of the testes, plus the adrenal hormones that feed the same pathway. When a sex hormone reads low, these are what tell us whether the problem starts in the testes or above them.
Red Cells & Oxygen
The most important safety numbers on this panel. Testosterone thickens your blood — these six lines are how we catch it early and keep it from becoming a problem.
White Cells, Platelets & Iron
Immune cells, clotting cells, and your iron supply. Iron matters more here than most people expect — managing a high hematocrit drains it.
Prostate & Urinary
Checked in every man over 40 before starting. Testosterone does not appear to cause prostate cancer — but it can feed one that is already there and undetected, so we look first.
Metabolic & Blood Sugar
Low testosterone and high blood sugar feed each other in a loop. If we only treat one side of it, you leave results on the table.
Lipids & Cholesterol
The standard cholesterol panel, plus the particle count that actually predicts risk. Therapy can move these in both directions, which is why a baseline matters.
Advanced Cardiovascular & Inflammation
Roughly half of first heart attacks happen to people whose standard cholesterol panel looked fine. These are the markers that would have flagged them.
Liver, Bile & Pancreas
How your liver is handling everything you put through it — including training, alcohol, supplements and medication.
Kidney & Urine
Filtration and what gets through it. Several of these read high in men who lift, without anything being wrong.
Proteins, Minerals & Muscle
The structural half of your chemistry panel — nutrition status, mineral balance, and the enzyme that explains most 'abnormal liver' results in athletic men.
Thyroid
The most common reason someone feels no better on perfectly dosed testosterone is an untreated thyroid problem sitting underneath it.
Vitamins, Minerals & Exposure
The cheapest problems on this entire panel to fix, and the ones most often left unmeasured. Minerals are read inside the red cell, where they work, rather than in serum — and the last row looks outward, at what you have been exposed to.
Immune & Cancer Screening Markers
Screening markers, read as a group and never in isolation. None of these diagnoses anything on its own — each has common benign reasons to run high, and those are printed in the last column. They earn their place by giving your clinician a floor to stand on when something else does not add up.
Whole-Body Baseline & Fertility
Four things that are not blood tests, and are easy to skip. Two of them — fertility and sleep apnea — change the plan more than most lab values do.
