LDL Particle Number & Size
How many LDL particles you carry, and how big they are. Cholesterol is the cargo; particles are the trucks — and it is the number of trucks hitting the artery wall that does the damage.
What the numbers mean
These are the ranges BioForge works to. They are not the same as a lab's reference range, which is built from the general population rather than from people who feel well.
What moves LDL Particle Number & Size
Particle number tracks insulin resistance and triglycerides more than dietary fat. Discordance is the point: a normal LDL cholesterol sitting on a high particle number is common in insulin resistance, invisible on a standard lipid panel, and is exactly what this test exists to catch.

This page is educational and is not medical advice. Ranges are general and do not account for your history, medications or symptoms — a single number never decides a protocol. Your results are interpreted by a licensed clinician alongside everything else about you. Back to the Learning Center
