hs-CRP

Measured in mg/L

A general measure of inflammation throughout the body. Elevated levels track with heart risk and with lower testosterone.

What the numbers mean

These are the ranges BioForge works to. They are not the same as a lab's reference range, which is built from the general population rather than from people who feel well.

What moves hs-CRP

Raised by excess body fat, smoking, poor sleep, gum disease, autoimmune conditions, and any recent infection or hard training session. Retest in 2 weeks if elevated after an illness — do not act on a single spike.
