Apolipoprotein A-1
The main structural protein of HDL — one molecule per particle, so it counts your protective particles the way ApoB counts the harmful ones.
What the numbers mean
These are the ranges BioForge works to. They are not the same as a lab's reference range, which is built from the general population rather than from people who feel well.
What moves Apolipoprotein A-1
Rises with aerobic exercise, fat loss, and estrogen. Falls with smoking, insulin resistance, and anabolic steroid use. The ApoB to ApoA-1 ratio is the sharpest single lipid risk number in this guide — it compares harmful particles directly against protective ones.

This page is educational and is not medical advice. Ranges are general and do not account for your history, medications or symptoms — a single number never decides a protocol. Your results are interpreted by a licensed clinician alongside everything else about you. Back to the Learning Center
