What is a good LH level?

BioForge works to an optimal range rather than the lab's reference flag. For LH that is 2–7, measured in mIU/mL. A result inside the lab's normal range can still sit outside the range where most people feel and function well.

Q: What makes LH go up or down?

Low T + low/normal LH = secondary (brain/pituitary side). Low T + high LH = primary (testicles themselves). Suppressed by opioids, anabolic steroids, obesity, sleep apnea, head trauma, pituitary tumors.

The pituitary's radio signal telling the testicles to make testosterone. It tells us where the failure is.

What the numbers mean

These are the ranges BioForge works to. They are not the same as a lab's reference range, which is built from the general population rather than from people who feel well.
