IGFBP-3
The carrier protein that transports roughly four-fifths of your IGF-1 around the bloodstream. Measured next to IGF-1, it tells us whether a growth-axis number is real or an artifact of the carrier.
What the numbers mean
These are the ranges BioForge works to. They are not the same as a lab's reference range, which is built from the general population rather than from people who feel well.
What moves IGFBP-3
Tracks growth hormone output and nutrition together. Falls with liver disease, low protein intake, and poorly controlled diabetes. Rises alongside IGF-1 on growth-hormone peptide protocols — the relationship between the two is the useful signal, not either number alone.

This page is educational and is not medical advice. Ranges are general and do not account for your history, medications or symptoms — a single number never decides a protocol. Your results are interpreted by a licensed clinician alongside everything else about you. Back to the Learning Center
