ANA Screen with Reflex

Measured in titer + pattern

A screen for antibodies against your own cell nuclei — the first gate on autoimmune disease. A positive result is a reason to look closer, not a diagnosis: roughly one healthy adult in eight tests positive at a low titer.

What the numbers mean

These are the ranges BioForge works to. They are not the same as a lab's reference range, which is built from the general population rather than from people who feel well.

Low
Negative · No further work-up
Optimal
Negative · Or <1:80 with no symptoms
High
≥1:160 · Reflexes to specific antibodies

What moves ANA Screen with Reflex

Positive rates rise with age, in women, after infections, and on certain medications. The staining pattern matters as much as the titer. We run it when fatigue, joint pain, rashes, or thyroid antibodies do not add up — and when an unexplained inflammatory picture needs a floor put under it.
